Health Nurse

The Health Nurse mainly works with the new babies and their mums, making sure they're keeping fit & healthy. But it's worth asking about other things too. A walking group, baby music programs, playgroups - it's all connected.

Playgroups

Some meet here, including one more especially for indigenous mums who may feel a bit shy in other playgroups.
Other playgroups meet at Neerabup Primary, too, which gives them a head start getting into the swing of school.

Toy Library

Yep - you can borrow toys, and return them when the kids are sick of them. Instead of buying-n-binning them!

Youth Activities

Sian works for the Wanneroo Council, and visits to run a weekly program there. Sometimes they have a project or activity they're doing, sometimes just a drop in and chat.

Cheers Church 247

Cheers Neighbours' Network is a network of local volunteers working across the neighbourhood during the week, blessing and benefiting Banksia Grove and beyond. One of the services is a regular Christian-based gathering at the BG Centre, Sundays 4pm, during school terms. More info here.
