This part of the Community Plan will try to facilitate our ongoing learning. This area includes Schools, but is so much more. The schools offer their libraries & staff, the BG Centre offers its Program Officer & Health Nurse, in fact all groups will share their insights if you ask. So education can include:

- Tertiary & TAFE etc
- crafts & hard-skills
- gardening & shed skills
- parenting
- healthy eating & exercise
- community development skills
- whatever we need to know, as we need to know it
BANKSIA GROVE PRIMARY
This was the first school in the district, operating for the first 10 years in houses on Brunswick Circuit, and it developed a very caring atmosphere. It now has great purpose-built facilities on Viridian Dv (sharing the oval & basketball courts with Council). The staff are very committed to the students, and the community.
